To cap off their 20th anniversary season Book-It Repertory Theater is staging The Cider House Rules, the first full-length novel adapted in the Book-It Style™.

It premiered in 1996 at Seattle Rep (with subsequent productions at the Mark Taper Forum and New York’s Atlantic Theater Company). The landmark production put Book-It—and their trademarked style—on the national theatre map.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by John Irving, The Cider House Rules tells the story of orphan Homer Wells’ life in a Maine orphanage and his education under the tutelage of Dr. Larch, who delivers not only babies but their mothers, too.

The Cider House Rules runs June 6 - July 11th 2010 at the Center House Theater in Seattle Center.
